King Edward VI School  Southampton
Established 1553

Introduction

The School has a Study and Activities centre near Bayeaux in France and also has  a property within Dartmoor National Park. Plans are now being put into effect to convert this into a Rural Study Centre.

The centre will provide welcome opportunities for the School to establish further its commitment to the Duke of Edinburgh Award and to extend the range of activities on offer to our students through field work in academic areas in the sciences and humanities. We are grateful to KESSoc and the Old Edwardians' Association for their support of this venture and look forward to completing phase two of the development programme over the next 12 months.
